3rd Annual Fund Raising Dinner & Silent Auction

Thursday, October 13th, 2016 – 6 to 9 at the Farmhouse at the Peoples Light & Theater Company

 

Come show your support for these two local all-volunteer non-profit organizations at our 3rd annual fund raising dinner.  It’s a great way for the community to help us raise much needed funds for National Historic Landmark status project, Education and Preservation programs, and the Maintenance of the monuments and the “ring road”. The evening program includes our keynote speaker the noted author Dr. Nancy Loane. There will be multimedia displays and an update on our organizations efforts to become one of the few National Historic Landmarks in the nation.  New this year is a Silent Auction.  The Donated items auctioned off will benefit both of these nonprofit organizations so bring your checkbook or credit card to help our fund raising efforts.  Attire is Business Casual.

Come show your support for these two local all-volunteer non-profit organizations at our 3rd Annual Fund Raising Dinner and Silent Auction.  It’s a great way for the community to help us raise much needed funds for National Historic Landmark status project, Education and Preservation programs, and the Maintenance of the monuments and the “ring road”. There will be multimedia displays and an update on our organizations efforts to become one of the few National Historic Landmarks in the nation. Our Silent Auction has many donated items that will be auctioned off will benefit both of these nonprofit organizations so bring your checkbook or credit card to help our fund raising efforts.  Attire is Business Casual and the cost has been discounted to $90 per person.  Each attendee will receive one free ticket to an upcoming play at The Peoples Light & Theater Company for up to one year.

Paoli Memorial Association LogoThe Paoli Memorial Grounds and Paoli Battlefield in Malvern is ours to enjoy, we can walk our dogs, take a hike, jog, play with our kids, and enjoy the great outdoors. We come to The Malvern Fire Company Fair, use the tennis courts and watch the Chester Valley Little League play ball. There is the Malvern Memorial Day Parade and Spaghetti Dinners and Cake Walks a fun fascinating slice of small town USA!  All of this is done by the volunteers of the Paoli Memorial Association a non-profit organization without tax dollars.  We need you help in upkeep with the grounds, preserving the monuments, and making this place safe and accessible to the public.

The Paoli Battlefield Preservation Fund LogoPaoli Battlefield Preservation Fund is also a volunteer non-profit sister organization.  The PBPF is currently engaged in a major project to attain National Historic Landmark status for both the Paoli Memorial Grounds and the Paoli Battlefield.  This non-profit also needs your help in making this area a National Historic Landmark and a destination for historic tourism.  Please come and enjoy this great dinner event.

While we continue to provide services to the community, and help cushion the blow to taxpayers of the Borough, the costs and needs continue to increase and therefore the need to expand our fundraising efforts and volunteer support has become critical.
